My husband and I joined CrossFit Chula Vista a little under a year ago and it has completely transformed our fitness journey. We cannot recommend this box enough. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with an energy that's both welcoming and inspiring, thanks to the incredible leadership of Coach Rick.

What sets this gym apart is the perfect balance between professional expertise and genuine community care. The staff of coaches is knowledgeable and inviting. Furthermore, they take the time to know each member personally, adapting workouts to individual needs while pushing you to reach your full potential.

I’ve been working out at CrossFit Chula Vista for several years now, and it’s by far the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. I’m planning to continue going for many more years. CrossFit Chula Vista isn’t your typical gym—it truly feels more like a family.

The coaches are top-notch, but since I usually work out in the mornings, I’m particularly fond of Coach Rick (the owner) and Coach Melissa. Both are incredibly caring and supportive, while also challenging and pushing everyone to be their best.

One of the standout qualities of this gym is its welcoming atmosphere. Newcomers are always greeted with warmth and encouragement by the entire community. I still remember when I first started. I was a bit intimidated, as everyone was in great shape and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. However, the support I received from the coaches and fellow members was incredibly humbling and helped me grow both physically and mentally.

In addition to working out, CrossFit Chula Vista regularly organizes fun events that strengthen the sense of community, like competitions, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, barbecues, and more. It’s not just about fitness—it’s about building lasting friendships and enjoying time together both inside and outside the gym.

This gym is amazing! We’ve been to a handful of full gyms all over Chula Vista and San Diego and we are so glad we are here. All the coaches are very motivating and they can assist with proper form, modifications of the workout for every level, and I mean every level, or they can make it harder(not my level yet). Everything is clean and organized to allow you to get your workout in and out or chat with the other amazing people at the gym. We’ve meet a lot of wonderful people while here and I’m glad this gym is here!

Where strong is the new sexy! For the past seven years, my body has transformed to be stronger every day. I no longer look at aesthetics; I now pride myself in what my body is capable to do. This capability allows me to have tremendous confidence in myself and in turn exude it to others.
I love the community aspect of our 6am class too. We have become family and help each other outside of the gym doors. I am truly blessed. Win-win situation at this gym. Come visit!

CrossFit Chula Vista is a top notch training training facility! I came from a typical gym environment and was brand new to CrossFit and olympic lifting. The coaches are professional and are the best people. And they're really into what they do and and know how to build you up. CrossFit is technical with a lot to learn. I couldn't have gotten to where I am so quickly if it weren't for the quality of the coaches!

The owner (Rick) and head coach (Melissa) were extremely friendly and welcoming. I dropped in every day for a week and had a great experience each day. They cared to give me coaching tips and spent some one-on-one time making sure I perfected my deadlift even though I’m from out of town. The gym is a big space with plenty of equipment and the members were encouraging and kind. It’s obvious that this gym has a tight knit community and quality coaches!

CrossFit Eastlake is an incredible gym! The facility is always super clean, which makes working out here so much more enjoyable. The trainers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely care about your progress and well-being, going above and beyond to help you reach your goals. I just had a baby in September and my husband was also very out of shape and although we were beginners they worked with us to modify the moves and personalize the workouts to better fit our fitness level. As a second-time mom, I also love how accommodating they are with kids, which has made it so much easier for me to stay consistent and prioritize my health. I never thought id set foot in the gym again after having my second kid. I especially love that I don’t have to think about the workouts and I can go whenever I want, get it done and then leave. Quick and easy. The community here is unmatched—everyone is so welcoming and supportive. I’m so glad to be part of this amazing group of people. Highly recommend CrossFit Eastlake to anyone looking for a place that feels like home while helping you get stronger and healthier!

I have been a client for 12 years. Crossfit Chula Vista has totally changed my life. I started working out there to get my back stronger. I had a lifetime of pain and trips to the doctor. When I started here, I told coach Rick that I didn't want to lift heavy due to my condition. A couple years later I became a competitive weightlifter. Its amazing what consistency will do for you. The community there is what made the difference. The support and motivation from others goes a long way. I'll go to any class, morning or evening, and I feel like I'm visiting friends and family. I just went there to get in better shape and I exceeded everything I thought was possible. Hope to see you there.
