There is no training or system in place at this store. The package was suppose to deliver to its destination on a Tuesday. It didn’t get picked up until THAT Tuesday. It arrived 7 days after I sent it. Then someone lied at the store and said it was picked up the day I dropped it off? But couldn’t provide me a The FedEx pick up reference number? I was on the phone with FedEx trying to sort this out. And please note, I was never rude to the employees. It just incredibly frustrating that there was absolutely no organization, no clear structure, no training or process in place to avoid these issues. There was one guy (who seemed like the manager) and he was kind but he wasn’t the one helping me out. Suddenly, I’m calling the store afterwards to get an update. FedEx says they have not picked up anything. The store “claims” FedEx did. I even went back to the store in person twice to request any information they could give me. The shipment said it the parcel was “cancelled”; store could not provide a reference # that it was ever picked up. FedEx customer service was supporting me through this and we had nothing to work with. It was severely concerning. Someone on the phone from the store shared “we could go through the cameras and see if it was picked up or not”, after first telling me that it was picked up. Why would this be a practical solution? Why would this even be a suggestion? You should not alert customers that there is absolutely no organization or system after they have paid you $70 to ship 1 document.

I would rather go reliably with an actual FedEx/UPS/USPS store, NOT parcel plus. This was a super super disappointing, frustrating, and stressful process.

This is peoples livelihood you are dealing with when you’re trusting to send valuables.

This place is awesome. Friendly and helpful. Will take your package and make sure you get the best rate for shipping. Nice store, lots of variety. If you're shipping for Christmas, they even have a deadline schedule you can take with you. Kudos to a great owner and staff.

I have been using Parcel Plus at the Kentlands for more than 15 years. Although the small store is in a very quaint space along a shopping strip in our neighborhood, I find the variety and quality of services to be amongst the best businesses in the area. The staff is very efficient in technology, versed in Postal Mailing and notary; and are familiar with other processing venues in nearby locations. The store is chock-full-of other items, such as cards, business supplies, toys, and unique gifts. The owner and staff are friendly, extremely professional and dedicated to delivering excellent customer experiences at every channel touch point. Even when customers come in with unpacked material, which should be ready to mail and process in most cases, they are accommodated on the spot. Parcel Plus at the Kentlands is a very busy location. However, the staff always strives to meet the needs of customers by providing exemplary and excellent quality services. I would highly recommend Parcel Plus at the Kentlands to friends, family, colleagues and visitors looking to expedite their postal services and emergency shopping needs.

I lived in Gaithersburg for 12 years starting in 2004. During that entire time there were plenty of opportunities to use the services of Parcel Plus. Whether it was a need to make copies of a document, to return merchandise I had bought online, to mail gifts, or even wire money overseas, Parcel Plus was always there. I even used their notary service! With reasonable prices and a friendly staff, I always felt welcome as a customer there. I really appreciated the fact that they were open during hours that the post office wasn’t. As a busy professional that was very convenient for me. In fact Parcel Plus was my go-to if I needed something sent quickly in the mail. They even had a nice selection of unique cards for every occasion. I really miss the great service I got there! I hope neighbors in the Kentlands area know about this great store!
