Alex is very organized and ensured the day ran smoothly. He made both me and my husband feel super comfortable in front of the camera. He has everything under the sun that you might need during posed and impromptu photos (scissors, blotting papers, water, a fan!). We had a large wedding party of 18 and I was impressed with Alex and chucks ability to tackle and tag team the many many combinations of photos we wanted to take.

Alex did a great job of honoring the type of vibe I wanted while using his professional eye to capture the right things. He also had a super quick turnaround with our sneak peak / preview gallery!

Alex was phenomenal! He’s an incredible photographer, he’s super well-organized and flexible to arrange with, and he’s also just really easygoing and fun to be around! I had a whole bunch of guests comment on how well he organized family and group photos. Alex was also just great at always making us feel comfortable and being fun. Plus, he managed to have on hand every emergency thing (duct tape, quick mending kit, etc.) that we could potentially need. I’ve recommended him to any/all of my friends looking for a wedding photographer!

Alex and his team are the BEST photographers in the game, hands down. We hired them for our Indian wedding weekend across 4 different events and they were the best choice we could make. Alex truly cares about all his couples and personally got fans for us set up during our ceremony which happened to happen during a heat wave. We felt working with him and Michelle felt like hanging out with friends given how comfortable we felt. He had everything from blotting sheets, personal fans, water bottles, truly a Mary Poppins bag of wedding items whenever we needed. We can't recommend him enough and can't wait for the photos!

All we can say is WOW. Alex exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. First, He did an incredible job with our engagement session. He walked all of Philadelphia with us (miles on miles) and made sure to get every shot we asked for and more! My husband and I had never had professional pictures taken before and we felt kind of awkward at first. Alex made the whole experience so easy and natural! We didn’t have to be posed. He just let us have a fun day in Philly and captured it beautifully. Alex was even incredible during the whole planning process. Photography related or not, he was always quick to answer any questions I had.
Then came wedding day. He went ABOVE and BEYOND on our wedding day. The authenticity of his pictures lets us relive our favorite day forever. Everything he captured was beautiful and natural. We didn’t have to pose for pictures with him. He just has a talent and an eye for catching a beautiful moment without ruining the moment. He was also beyond prepared for any situation. I spilled some sauce on my wedding dress at dinner and the staff from our venue got Alex to help get the stain out. He got it out immediately without difficulty or stress. It is safe to say Alex and his team were our favorite vendors for our wedding. They are a huge reason our day was effortlessly perfect and we are so grateful to have had them work with us! We would HIGHLY recommend Alex Schon Photography to anyone for their wedding day!!

Alex's style of photography is beautiful, and we were just so excited to have him capture our wedding day. Alex was incredibly responsive when I reached out about availability for our date, and we had him booked just a few days later. His website made payments and completing photography planning forms VERY easy. And of course, Alex is incredibly helpful on the day of - he was so patient with kiddos in the bridal party, and even taped one of my sleeves back up because it kept falling down. We are so in love with our wedding day pictures, and very thankful for Alex's artistry!

Thank you so much to Alex and Michelle for your outstanding work for our wedding!! We first met Alex and Michelle through one of our close friend's weddings. At that wedding, he was kind enough to take a "couple" picture for us since we had just gotten engaged. When my friend's wedding pictures came out, we absolutely LOVED Alex's work and even have an enlarged photo of the picture Alex took of us. We just knew Alex had to be our photographer since his pictures are bright but not overly edited/filtered and still natural. He really gets to know you as a couple to help capture you in the best way before the wedding actually happens through phone calls and emails. On our wedding day, Alex and Michelle went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable/not stressed/and not overly tired from all the pictures. We really felt at ease with them around and felt like we were surrounded by friends instead of simply our wedding vendor or photographer. Alex is very prepared and has anything you may need hidden in his suit pocket, he is truly the mary poppins of photographers! Alex is extremely hardworking, he took pictures for our pre-wedding event, sent us highlights of the event very late at night even though we all had to reconvene at the crack of dawn the next morning for our long Indian wedding day! We have also already received highlights from our wedding day and the pictures are absolutely outstanding, our families have even said they have never seen wedding pictures that are as fantastic as his! We are so incredibly grateful for Alex and Michelle and are looking forward to seeing them again!
