Disgusting company who’s only intention is to rob you blind and then ignore your calls, Karen came to my pizzeria, and convinced me to sign up to send menus with this company, good thing I didnt sign any contract with them because they took my money, and my menus, and never sent them out. I’ve been doing this for years there’s no way they sent 5000 menus and not one person called. When I tried to contact Karen about this issue I was ignored and hung up on multiple times. I got my money back from my credit card company, and then they sent me to collections for not paying ! What a joke these people are! I paid you and Amex conducted an investigation, you couldn’t prove you sent my menus and they gave me my money back so how you have the balls to send me to collections I don’t know, and the icing on the cake, they added late charges to the invoice they sent to the collection company ! ? terrible company all they want to do is rob you. And I bet ya they will not respond to me after leaving this review

This company is expensive, misleading, overpromising and provides zero transparency, wishing the business owners will not spot the mistakes they are making. I was approached by one of their reps who promised I will get results from their mailing campaigning. Very first page and costly. Essentially delivered zero result. I was promised that I will be revisited towards the end of my contract if I want to renew. The campaign was doing nothing but I ate the cost and waited for the commitment to be over. Found out later the company renewed another 7 rounds of mailers without giving me any notification. I was paying many more rounds of their futile campaign. When I approached them about the situation they told me I was contracted for 12 rounds and when I informed that I have a record on file saying 7, they switch their words saying actually my contract got renewed . Again, I was never told about this. The cancellation process was very unpleasant. Extremely condescending if they are doing me a huge favor for letting me get off the contract earlier and still charged me for another month before cancellation. As business owner, I understand some marketing campaigns are subpar than others. But a company profiting by misleading and lying to their entrusted customers is simply unethical and regretful. If you are considering using this company, I would urge you to reconsider your decision.

I’ve had a great experience. With all businesses there’s ups and downs. In the beginning it’s wasn’t the best but after the 3rd ad. I started getting phone calls. I think it was a combination of repeating the ads, more exposure. I booked a $60k job, for my business that was great. We obtained our ROI. We are a forever customer. Rina and her team know how to set up the ads. Coupons really help potential clients, make the calls. Overall I’ve had a great experience. Sometimes better than online advertising. SS Ads/ Smart shopper is very misleading. They solicited me as a new Auto Shop Owner in Metuchen. The salesperson came to my business during my working hours, solicited me into false promises of getting more business to my shop and walked away with a 13-month/ over One year contract of $372/ month. She did not explain the contract details or even asked if I can afford to pay for that time period. I mistakenly believed it was only a one-time payment. Every time I called to change or ask about why these fees were so high; the Customer rep. sugar-coated the deal and promised it will only get better. They are money hungry for new clients as they do not have many and try to scare you (or trap you) to stay as the buyout is almost the same as letting the contract end. Claimed I must pay over $3000 plus to end it. Very deceiving and misleading service. They threaten new business owners with shady contracts to not get out and continue paying regardless, I tried them for over 6 or 7 months. Worst experience of my life. I paid them more than 4 months ($1,488) of paper ads a with zero (0) return in investments. I acquired zero, absolutely no customers from their ads. They claim it takes time. This is the Most misleading advertising deal I have ever signed up with and I want any new business owner to know how deceiving Smart Shopper is. Stay away from them! You will regret ever speaking to them! I think their advertising is old thinking, does not work anymore and a total waste of money. They are sending collections after my small business to collect what they claim I owe them. Deceitful! Please Stay Away!!!
