There is absolutely no way I can adequately put into words how amazing Mike and Monica are, but I will try my best!

Mike Rodriquez Photographer was the first vendor my then-fiance and I found, and they set the bar so high. When we reached out for pricing and info, they invited us over to their studio to show us their portfolio, as well as get to know us and find out what we were looking for. From the beginning they were so kind, genuine, and put no pressure on us to book them as our photographers. We looked at each other in disbelief as we left their studio knowing we didn't have to look any further and booked them that day.

Leading up to your wedding day, Mike asks you to make a folder of the photos you like most in his portfolio so that he can see the type of wedding photos that are most important to you and give you advice on what to do on your day to get those photos. An example for me was I loved veil flying and twirling dress photos. So throughout the day we were able to capture many photos of me twirling in my dress as well as telling my husband to twirl me during our first dance, etc. I loved this detail because they really made you part of the process.

Once the wedding day came, Mike and Monica took photos nonstop. The way they work in tandem to get these magical shots as they move around the room together is unreal to see; and to be able to see both perspectives in the wedding album is so cool! They make you feel so comfortable throughout the day and hardly any of the photos look too posed, they are so good at capturing moments with raw and natural emotions and they never once felt in the way. They capture these amazing close up shots from behind the scenes and you look back and don’t even remember them being there! Mike is an artist in every sense of the word. He puts his all and more into his work even if it means sprawling out on the ground to use a puddle for a reflection photo. It is no secret photography is his passion.

Once the photos were done, they invited us back to their studio and had a small photo reveal party with a slideshow of our photos and it was so special. They really go above and beyond for their clients and that isn’t the most common thing to see anymore. To wrap this long but definitely necessary review up. Not only do you get amazing wedding photos when you hire Mike Rodriquez Photographer, but you meet two of the most amazing, kind, and hospitable people you will ever come across. You will not regret hiring them for your wedding. As I have already told my husband, they will be our family's photographer for all future events. LOL.
