Agnes was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. She did not meet any of the promised deadlines and it was extremely difficult to communicate with her. She ignored my emails and Facebook messages and always made excuses for not responding. I only got my photos because I filed a complaint with BBB.
I definitely do not recommend her work.

Hiring Agnes for our wedding was a great decision in many ways and a poor one in many others. I will start with the positive:

1. Agnes takes amazing photos, they are truly gorgeous shots and ones I will cherish forever. She has a great eye and is talented with a camera. Also our USB was sent along with many beautiful prints and storage pouch which we appreciated. Very kind.
2. Along with her talent, she is knowledgeable about photography. I inquired with her several months before my wedding and she brought up great points about where we were planning to have our ceremony and the time of day. I wanted a light and airy feel to my photos and my ceremony location and 6pm timeframe in October was not going to cut it. With Agnes’ recommendation, I changed the ceremony location and time and I’m so glad I did, because she was 100% right.
3. Working with her on the day of the wedding was fantastic. She is kind and sweet, helped with little things while we were getting ready, and dealt with our loud and in-the-way dogs! Also, riding in the limo with her was wonderful and she was easy to talk to - bonus!

Now these were some of the issues we had with Agnes and the reasons, unfortunately, that we won’t be using her in the future.

1. She is unresponsive when it comes to the business side of things. Leading up to the wedding there was no communication from her. I had to email her multiple times to confirm day of details and it took nearly a week and multiple emails each time to get any response from her. Finally I just had to call. The same thing happened after the wedding, no communication whatsoever when we were getting our pictures, what the progress was, etc.
2. She went well over the contract date of when we were supposed to receive our pictures. The contract states photos will be sent via mailed USB within 12 weeks, it took us 18 weeks to receive our USB. My husband had to reach out to her by phone (because she again wouldn’t respond to my emails) to get her to finally mail it to us.
3. While the pictures are beautiful, some things were looked over. There are several family photos that weren’t done even though I gave her a list of every shot I wanted. I should’ve had a family member be in charge of this to ensure it was taken care of, but I thought my photographer could handle it. There are group photos where people are spaced out oddly, making them unusable. My only solo photo with my father is blurry. She didn’t take photos of the boat our reception was on, which may not seem like a big deal, but we purposely bought a large sign to hang on the stern of the boat with our names and wedding date, which again were not photographed. The gift table, guest book, etc. was not photographed. And lastly, no touch ups were done on any of the photos. There’s blemishes in some photos, bottles and backpacks in the background of others, etc. She basically threw a filter on everything and called it a day. I’m sorry but if I’m paying you $3000 to shoot for 10 hours, those photos should be edited and touched up.

All in all, we love a majority of our photos, but will never again use Agnes because of the delay in getting our photos and lack of communication. I really feel like if she had an assistant to handle the business side of things and editing she would be unstoppable. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading this and I hope it helps you. I’m writing this detailed of a review because I did not see any sub par reviews like this when I booked her. I am someone that relies on reviews when booking services, therefore I’d rather future couples be informed and know what they’re signing up for than be surprised after the fact like we were.

Agnes failed to meet all of her contractual obligations regarding delivery timeline and communication. She was weeks late to deliver our sneak peak photos, using excuses each time we were in communication regarding the delivery timeline. Our wedding photos were contractually promised to be delivered within 3 months of the wedding date, they were delivered after 5 months. Agnes claimed to have a foot injury that caused her delay for all August deliverables (only communicated after already being over 1 month late to her promised deliverable date) but at the same time, was promoting and working on her family photography services during the same timeline. We have yet to receive all promised deliverables within the contact and our wedding was over 10 months ago. Agnes does not exhibit the level of professional candor you would expect at a bare minimum when working with someone in this industry. It was utterly disappointing to pay thousands of dollars only to have our contract disobeyed by the business owner - the standards she holds herself to and consistently fails to meet as you'll find among other reviewers - and it's a shame the contact is written in a way that protects her from any wrongdoing on her part. She did not respond to any attempt at communication via phone, text or email. Regarding her delivered product, our photos had inconsistent filters applied throughout the entirety of our wedding album, she delayed our timeline on the day of our wedding by arriving 45 minutes late to our meet up spot causing us to lose out on special photos, did not edit her props or tools out of the background of our photos, did not lead coordinating family photos, and did not take any photos of our reception area or details to name a few things you would generally expect from a wedding photographer. It was exhausting and beyond disappointing (for both us and our families) to deal with the aftermath of working with Agnes - do yourself a huge favor and find someone else to work with.

Agnes is an amazing photographer!! She made both my fiance and I feel incredibly comfortable during the engagement shoot by providing a lot of different pose options, adjusting us as needed, and showing small glimpses of how we looked behind the camera. I appreciated the direction since I am not used to having my photo taken and felt really nervous about the whole experience. She has been responsive and incredibly kind through all the nerves. The final photos are beautiful!

It is a true shame to have to write a poor review for Agnes Rasek Photography. As an artist her work is beautiful, but the way she has handled all other parts of her business has left my husband and I stressed, disappointed, and without any of the tangible products that we paid for almost a year after our wedding. Leading up to our wedding there were no issues, and she was professional and did a great job the day of our wedding. The problems only came about after the wedding, when Agnes suddenly became very difficult to contact via email or phone and missed all deadlines. Our sneak peak was to be delivered in 2 weeks from wedding, we got them late only after having to contact Agnes first. Our wedding photos were to be shared 3 months after wedding, they were over a month late. We had to contact Agnes many times via phone and email before receiving a response to understand why our pictures were late and what was going on. Agnes has stated in writing multiple times that she has mailed a USB with our images that was promised in our contract to our home, but we’ve never received it and she has not sent tracking info to prove it was sent after being asked for it. On Feb 2nd 2023 I have selected photos for 2 10x10 photo albums for my engagement session and wedding that is paid for and listed in my contract. A proof of this is to be delivered within 8 weeks, but I have still to this date never had success contacting Agnes regarding this process I have contacted her many times without any response. We feel like we will never get our printed wedding albums that we paid for, or even a response from Agnes and we are very disappointed. We showed Agnes a lot of flexibility and grace, but the total lack of communication and not delivering 2 paid for photo albums leaving our contract incomplete has left us to leave a poor review.

We are absolutely in love with our Maternity photos! Agnes did an amazing job at capturing us in natural light. The pictures are soft, yet catch your eye. We are so excited for her to do our newborn photos once our baby girl arrives.

Agnes photographed our wedding in late September (09/30). The photos turned out fantastic, and I thoroughly appreciate the guidance and prompting during our wedding to make our wedding party look great. However I will echo with what many of the other reviews state, that communication and trying to get in touch with her after our wedding was frustrating, and our contracted times to receive photos back were not followed.

Pros:
- photography 5/5: Our photos turned out great! We got nearly all the photos we wanted, and Agnes did a fantastic job of providing direction to our wedding party and family/friends to ensure all people in the photos looked their best.
- Day of 5/5: we had multiple hiccups and delays due to several factors during our day, and Agnes was able to help us move around our schedules to still ensure we got the photos we wanted. She quickly assembled large family photos and provided direction needed.

Cons:
- Timeliness/responsiveness (1/5): Our contract stated we would get photos within 3 months of our wedding date (by 12/31). It took 4.5 months (02/09) to get photos back from our wedding. In addition, we have not received the USB (has been 2.5 months since receiving the digital album). Initially, we gave the benefit of doubt, however, we followed up many times throughout the process and the delays in receiving our photos and USB. For the USB, we have followed up ~6-7 times with ~1-2 responses, where we confirmed the proper mailing address. I/any client would appreciate a response to expect a delay, instead of hearing that it was sent in the mail (for it to never arrive). I weighted this heavier than the other sections since it was very frustrating.

Overall the points above are why I provided an overall rating of 2.5/5. Again, the pictures turned out great and Agnes was great day of the wedding, so I appreciate that part of the service, so it’s a shame that I felt the need for this lower overall rating. However, with how much we paid, I would have expected more professionalism with customer service aspects for timeliness and communication. I hope Agnes is able to improve upon her responsiveness and communicating delivery date expectations with clients. That would have increased the rating.

Agnes has had horrible communication after our wedding over 13 months ago. We still do not have our PAID wedding album or USB of the photos. She will not reply to our emails and when I contacted her by phone she comes up with a bunch of lies about how she sent the USB (but no proof of that whatsoever). She also lied about how she sent email for my wife and I to approve photo album but still has not done this. It is unfortunate to have to start thinking about getting legal involved.
