We were recommended Colin by a family friend who had him photograph their family member's wedding, and the photos were absolutely stunning. The moment my fiancé and I saw his work, we knew we wanted to book him.

I can't say enough about Colin as both a photographer and a person. I was a big fan of his work and reached out to him as I was starting my own photography journey. I took photography lessons with Colin for a few years and he helped me with everything. THE premier wedding photographer in Buffalo. From start to finish, Colin and his assistant Sarah were a pleasure to work with and both went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail made us feel confident we were in good hands.

For the engagement photos, Colin took immediate creative control and relieved any anxiety we had about needing to think of poses, situations, and props for the photos. This freed us up to have so much fun during our photoshoot!

This continued on the morning of the wedding. Him and his assistant immediately took control of both parties and captured both beautiful candid and staged moments. Most importantly they made us feel comfortable despite the stress and fast pace of the hours before a wedding.

During the ceremony and reception they were in all the right places at the right time. They were then able to handle the chaotic group photo process despite the unfocused participants. Once the speeches and dances started they were able to capture every moment without being intrusive.

He even made sure to ensure some very special moments like a fun late night photoshoot featuring our late night food station, and even pulling us aside to give us some teaser photos he was able to print with his mobile printer!

Colin (and Sarah!) genuinely cared about our day as much as we did and we will forever be recommending him for any professional photo situations.

We had a very low-key house wedding, but we wanted to spend some money on getting a great photographer to document our day. Meeting with Colin made us realize how much we didn't know and how important a professional can be.

Colin not only matched our vibe but also became a part of our day. His readiness to take the day in stride and capture our family and friends, his willingness to roll with the largely unstructured flow of the day, and his ability to keep us calm when we needed to make adjustments helped us stay focused on our joy and connect with our guests.

I will not go into the variety of ways that Colin went above and beyond. I want to avoid setting a standard that puts pressure on him in other jobs. But there were several times he offered to help our day keep moving, seeing potential hurdles before we did and just taking care of them. He was able to handle all the personalities of our guests with ease - and as he left, my husband and I looked at each other and asked...can Colin be our friend?

And the photos? He captured many wonderful moments tactfully and provided us with many beautiful photos that perfectly fulfilled our requests. We are immensely grateful that Colin has fit our little shindig into his schedule. I recommend him any chance I get, and I know my family will be eager to hire him again as soon as we can rationalize the need for more pictures. We could not be happier to have worked with him.

Colin is amazing at what he does! He was our wedding photographer and also did an engagement shoot for us as part of the wedding package we chose. From day 1, Colin was a breeze to work with. He was so easy to communicate with, answered all questions with ease and professionalism, and maintained the perfect balance of chill while also managing to get stuff done, both during the wedding planning process and on the day of. I never had to remind Colin of anything or ask for something. A true professional who knew exactly what he needed. Not only was Colin just a joy to be around, he is so incredibly talented. As two people who had never been in front of a camera and didn't really know what to expect from professional photos, my husband and I were blown away by our engagements photos and then blown away again by our wedding photos. Colin blew us away! He captured our day beautifully and was a breeze to work with from engagement through planning and the wedding day! His easy-going personality was calming to be around, he kept us on schedule, and he was meticulous when setting up group pictures.

Looking at our gallery was the first time we were able to see close ups for so many little things like the ceremony and reception details! My husband and I are NOT naturals in front of the camera (thank goodness for Colin and Sarah’s directions and demonstrations), but he made us look like PROS! I was blown away with the the movement pictures and I’m in love with how natural our portraits look. His classic black and white photos still make me teary and every time I look through the gallery I have a new favorite.

We were a little adventurous and did a photo blitz with our 26 (!!) tables... Colin kept up with us and nailed every photo... including a high five at the end!
