When our original DJ plans fell through, we hired Jacob Honeycutt from Complete Weddings and Events 29 days before our wedding. To say this was a leap of faith is an understatement! As someone who researches everything, I didn't have a lot of time to do so but after talking to Jacob, both my husband and I felt comfortable and excited to work with him. Jacob took our wants to heart and was on point at every moment. He made sure our wedding ran smoothly and hit every single point on our timeline. He even worked with our photographer to make sure we got a whole group picture, something we would have never thought about. If you are looking for a DJ in the KC area, hire Complete Weddings and Events!

Sharnee' Hudgins was fantastic! She knows her stuff! We had a house full of people and she had us all organized, relaxed and ahead of schedule for pictures. At the reception, she did a great job getting everyone to dance! I would highly recommend Sharnee' and Complete Weddings + Events for your event! I am so thankful to Tara at complete weddings! She went above and beyond at my daughters wedding! I was the nervous mother of the bride and worried about how the wedding would go but it went perfect, thanks to Tara. She was always available to answer questions. She was helpful in so many ways from her organization, to her knowledge, and hands on help, her coordination, suggestions, her emotional comfort, her friendliness, the list just goes on. I highly suggest hiring complete weddings! I could not have done it without her. Complete weddings is so worth every penny!! Thank you so so much again Tara!!!

Awful. They didn't tell me till the week of my wedding that I was getting a different DJ than the person I requested. They admitted they knew that the DJ I requested moved on 9 months before my wedding but did not inform me till the week of. The DJ we ended up with had no idea what she was doing. She caused a lot of awkward pauses during my wedding entrance and my first dance. She played music for the dollar dance that was way too fast paced and it made people uncomfortable to come up and dance. She informed us it was her second week on the job and had no one to train her. It was the worst DJ we could have ever had for our wedding. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Do NOT use them for your DJ.

My wife and I got married 8 years ago. We misplaced the raw footage and for a last resort, I reached out to them and spoke with Don. Thinking there was no shot to get that footage back, Don went above and beyond and sent me ALL of the footage from one of the best nights of our lives! 8 years had passed and they still had the footage and willing to go the extra mile for a previous client! Not only did he help me out with getting these memories back for us, but he did it in about a 12 hour timeframe! This speaks volumes for Don and this companies character! Thanks again!

The entire team at Complete was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I hired them for DJ, photography, videography, and day-of coordination. Tara Grubb worked with me to coordinate each of my services, helped me stay organized, and had so much helpful advice. Jennifer and Cody were a fantastic team for photography and videography and really made my husband and I feel comfortable while also staying on track. Patricia, my DJ, threw an absolutely amazing party at the reception. I'm still getting comments about how fun the reception was!

We used 4 services from this company for our wedding- videography, DJ, uplighting & photobooth. Below is a review of each service! Overall, we are very happy.
Video: COMPLETE offered the most competitive prices/packages that we could find for our area. Our videographer was Lucas. Lucas also had another videographer training with him on the day of the wedding. Both videographers were very kind & worked hard to capture all the important details of our day. They did a great job of respecting our space & not being a distraction at the ceremony or reception. We just got our video & we are so impressed with the final product! They captured our day perfectly & it’s so fun to get to relive it through the video COMPLETE has created for us!
DJ: Justin Ward was our DJ & he was incredible!! Justin did an amazing job of playing music that reflected what we had requested, as well as choosing songs that kept people on the dance floor all night long. He was also really interactive with us & our guests, including leading/teaching line dances throughout the night. We have had so many people comment to us about what a great DJ we had at our wedding & we couldn’t agree more!
Uplighting: COMPLETE helped direct us to what lighting options might look best for the color scheme of our wedding. Whoever did the lighting did a combo of light pink and blue which looked awesome - both in person & in photos. It definitely added to the fun mood of the reception venue. Photobooth: The only disappointment we had regarding he photobooth was that there was an issue with the printer at some point during the night and the attendant had to leave the reception to go get more paper. We understand that these things happen sometimes, but were a bit bummed, because few people used the booth after that, thinking it was closed for the night. All in all, we are glad we chose to have the photobooth and have really enjoyed looking at all the photo strips in the scrapbook that the attendant made for us!

I am not sure where to begin! From the first interaction we had with Scott at Complete Weddings and Events, I have been over the top impressed. To start, he contacted me within 10 minutes of my inquiry online! At that first conversation, we knew we wanted Complete to DJ at our daughter’s wedding. His professionalism, details, options available and kindness are unmatched! He contacted us every couple of weeks to check in and see if we had any questions. That response and attention is not something that I had seen from many and it made us feel so special and important!
Fast forward to the wedding! Bri was our DJ and was outstanding! She contacted my daughter a few days before the wedding just to make sure she understood exactly what my daughter was looking for at the reception. She NAILED IT! She showed up on time, set up promptly, was super sweet. She announced the events of the evening clearly and professionally. And she read the room throughout the evening making sure the dance floor was full and the guests were having an excellent time.
There haven’t been many vendors I have run into lately that went above and beyond and deserve a rating HIGHER than a 10 but Complete Weddings and Events is definitely the BEST! Thank you for everything!
