Maggie took our newborn pics on short notice and our experience was amazing. She was so gentle and patient with our little one and our parents who also participated. We will cherish the photos forever. They turned out amazing. Also appreciate the documentary style rather then overly stylized /posed and unnatural newborn pics

I had such an incredible experience working with Renee! She came to my home for a maternity shoot that was everything I was hoping for - she was friendly, professional, and brought my vision to life. I was so comfortable working with her, and she was patient with our very excitable dog, too! I loved working with Renee so much, I booked her again for a newborn photoshoot at home which was also so great. She was so natural with calming down my little one, and the photos from both shoots were amazing. I can't recommend her enough!

We have been so happy with Deer Baby over the last 2+ years - used for newborn shoot, and then two fall mini sessions (perfect for holiday cards and gifts!) in Brooklyn. Both Julia and Nara have been great to work with, are patient with crazy toddlers, and the photos come out beautifully. They're also super fast to turn around the proofs which is great for holiday crunch. Highly highly recommend!

Working with Franzi was such a pleasure! I had learned about Deer Baby through a Facebook Group recommendation, and I was a little hesitant to book since I didn't know anyone who had used them personally. I was blown away by the quality and quantity of the photos for our maternity shoot. Franzi went above and beyond staying with us far past the original hour in our contract and making sure we hit 4 iconic Central Park spots along the way. She was able to truly capture so much love and light in her photographs and we'll cherish these forever. Also, an added bonus is she captured the most incredible shots of our beloved dog (no easy feat since he is deaf and cannot respond to his name anymore). Following the shoot she also delivered far more photos than the contract had originally promised which was such a kind and incredible surprise. I can't wait to work with Franzi and Deer Baby again.

Maggie with Deer Baby did an amazing job with our family photos. She worked around both of our kids being a little cranky during our mini photo session and got some surprisingly great photos. The photos were delivered quickly and turned out beautifully. Oh and she proactively offered to reschedule when it was raining on our originally-scheduled photo day. Would definitely use again!

Franzi captured beautiful pictures of our family for our daughter's first birthday. She kept our daughter engaged and smiling the whole time and struck a great balance between suggesting poses and locations for us and keeping things looking natural in the end result. I worked with Renee Morello for various photo sessions including baby shower, maternity shoot, newborn photos and baby Christmas photo session. My husband and I are so happy to have been able to work with her. She has the most wonderfully calm demeanor and is a pleasure to work with. She provides helpful suggestions during photo sessions without being pushy in any way. Her photos come out so lovely. She has a talent for capturing the most beautiful natural lighting, our photos consistently come out stunning. She was so sweet during the baby shower event shoot, it was a lot of people to manage photos with but she was a pro and always remained so calm and collected. She even extended her time to finish capturing additional photos I requested last minute. She did a great job with the newborn session, which wasn't easy with such a little baby. She was a pro at wrapping him up for me for the photos. I look forward to working with her for future family photos and events.

My husband and I had a phenomenal experience with Franzi and Deer Baby Photography. We did a newborn shoot and I’m so happy that we did.
