I have beloved art pieces created by Bruce for the Christmas season that are simply stunning in composition. Every time they are on display, my eyes are drawn to look not just "at them" but also "into them." I have known Bruce Durst for many, many years. He is a phenomenal artist and has an incredible eye. My favorite picture of all time is one taken by Bruce before he started his portrait painting. I would absolutely recommend him.

Bruce did a portrait of my husband and I have the 11 X 14 framed in my office and it is indeed real life, magnificent and a joy to behold.

My husband and I are very pleased with the portrait of our precious Guido! Bruce captured Guido’s personality; in fact, Bruce was careful to take several pictures ahead of time. We received the portrait in a timely manner. Now that we have retired to the Hill Country, we are especially happy to feature Guido in our DOG-themed guest bedroom.

I’m not understanding how you guys have a 5 star when whom ever the guy is that answers the phone if RUDE. All I did was call to see the starting prices of a portrait and he just began to breathe heavy, telling me he confused, as if I was aggravating him. Then when I asked to speak with some else it’s almost as if he refused me.

I am not an artist. I don't know the right terms to use. But when I look at Bruce Durst's work something happens inside of me. There is a recognition, a connection, a wish for conversation with that person who seems to have so much to say. I look forward to seeing more of his work.
