My 4th time being there n had a awesome experience...my client's had a great time n each studio we was in,was a learning experience. If you haven't been here before, my advice to everyone is to go try it out n you will not be disappointed.

They advertised elevator access which our crew and other crews wanted to use to bring equipment up. If we had known they do not have a working elevator and or access we would have booked a different studio rather than leave 2/3rds of our equipment behind because the studio was 4 flights up. Also there is no warning to customers that 90% the immediate parking in that area within 2-3 blocks which was a selling point was unavailable due to construction in that entire area putting up no parking notices..this notice was up there for some time apparently.. and walking with equipment in 30 degree weather with no heads up about elevator just made it all the worse. There was also no staff help on hand to help. Additionally the studio itself was not taken care of things were taped up cracked falling into pieces or really dirty. This was not a great experience at FD NY 4022 to start of the year. The only positive was existing equipment there helped

Its Cheap & The service made my experience worse, on the carpet & the furniture, was some weird sticky confetti that kept sticking to the models legs. I had to painstakingly, edit these little whit dots out of all my pics?!!! (I had 5 models) TRUST me if you're a professional, bring your own lighting. The lighting is outdated, they give you one trigger free & using slave was bad because they didn't always fire. The girl working there had an attitude, didn't even help me find the studio. the young Black guy in the hoodie & Cap, came an hour too early & said that we only had 10 mins left he was wrong, we actually had an HOUR left. I had to find our booking which panicked us. This threw off the rest of our shoot.... He never returned to say he made a mistake, kinda flippantly apologized. Really didn't like that this was my first experience. contacted the company & NO ANSWER ...I will be sure to warn other photogs. its cheap for a reason!

Space was very nice. No issues. Heat was great in the dead cold of winter, fan was great and I had previously used two of their rooms without realizing it was the same space. Flower wall, large room with cyc wall, and shower/tub room. All were great places to shoot and pretty well lit. They provide you with enough to work your shoot without worry.

Staff was absolutely friendly, made sure you were in your room on time and multitasked well. I heard no complaints. I will say I'm not sure if there's an elevator for general walkup but those stairs to the 4th floor will kill if you aren't in reasonably good shape. I got leg day in without the gym but all in all still an amazing experience and free parking is decent in that area with parking lot options not too far away as well.

The studios look cute online and I loved the ease to book a studio however my experience was not great. There’s a sketchy entrance that lacks adequate signage outside and throughout the staircase. There is no formal check in or check out process. I booked a studio for an hour. Reception did not set up the backdrop I requested and took 15 minutes to do so. They did not give me additional time for the inconvenience so I didn’t finish my shoot. Also, the floors were extremely dirty.

Sessions are allowed to book directly after another which isn’t covid safe. I recommend having a 15 minute grace period between appointments to disinfect and sweep the floors.
