I recently worked with Leigh to have heirloom photos done and I couldn’t have had a better experience! From the ease of booking to the efficiency of the shoot (and all the in betweens- like Leigh having a little arsenal of attention grabbing toys when my little wasn’t feeling so smiley!) this was such a smooth process during such a busy time of life. The hardest part was choosing which ones to print! Every photo truly did immediately feel like those old time heirloom photos you have of your great grandparents. I’m so happy to have my daughter’s tiny little baby face captured forever in such a unique and stunning way.

In the past, I also worked with Leigh for maternity and newborn photos. Having a wardrobe to choose from for the whole family and hair and makeup included was a game changer for me. I never feel like I’m good at pulling all of this together so it took a major weight off of me. My photos were incredible and I will cherish them forever.

My first session was when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I wanted a boudoir shoot. Leigh made me feel and look like a super model (8 months pregnant!) with her scheduling hair and makeup and curating a wardrobe for the session. I was so comfortable during that session I knew I found the right person.

Fast forward and Leigh was photographing family sessions with my daughter, and later my son. Leigh has been able to capture some of the most precious memories and saying “thank you” will never feel like enough.

Not only does she take stunning photos, she prints and hangs them so we can enjoy the photographs!

Leigh did our newborn photo shoot and we were SO pleased with how they turned out! We just love her photography style. The images are classic, beautiful, and will be heirlooms for years to come. The newborn session also came with a petite maternity session and those were wonderful as well. Leigh with Fresh Light Photography was hands down the best decision we made for our family memories! First of all, her photos speak for themselves… she’s a superb photographer! Second of all, Leigh is so fun to work with - she will put you stressed momma mind at ease with all that she has thought of in process. I’ve never had professional photos taken (besides our wedding) so I was a bit nervous to step in front of the camera (especially post baby), but Leigh guided us so effortlessly through to create most beautiful photos that captured the love and feeling of welcoming our first child! I knew after our maternity session that we made the right choice; I immediately felt so much relief knowing she would document our baby once he arrived.

But Leigh was so much more than a photographer.. she guided us through the entire process! From the day we hired her I felt like I had an ally as a mom. She thought of all the stressors ahead for me that even I wasn't aware would come - she made sure to give her guidance on MUCH more than just posing. She even helped with styling (her client closet is amazing) and day of timeline planning so we got to the session on time - I cant image how helpful this will be when we have more children.

AND the best part - my photos ARENT ON MY PHONE - Certainly we could have purchase just digital images but I truly didn't see how that would help our busy growing family. She sat down with us and took the time to create a gallery wall that would grow with our family. We opted for an album as well that we are building over this next year. And y'all - she installed our frames (five star - husband approved!) I can’t tell you how valuable Leigh became to our memories - knowing not only our photos will be beautiful but also enjoyed for years to come. She clearly loves what she does and you can tell the care she puts into everything she does for you.

When I look at our photos I can feel and see the happiness of this special time and that is PRICELESS. Thank you for everything Leigh!
