Rita is a miracle worker. Our family has not had a true family picture taken in almost two decades so in the short time (a mere 42 hours) we planned on occupying the same space we were able to have the most beautiful pictures taken by Rita. We all drove or flew from Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, and Georgia and met on picture day. My husband and I had two boys under 3 and drove in the car for 7 hours to get there. The naps were few and the tears were many, but Rita pulled it off. She managed a stressed-out mother and two crazy toddlers with enviable grace, poise, and understanding. She stayed positive throughout the session and encouraged all of us that it would turn out just fine. I was expecting to not have many photos to put up, but I was very wrong. I could go on and on about her... and since you're still reading, I will. Rita is an actual dream to work with! Coming from an art direction background, naturally, I'm extremely picky about photography, but Rita can literally read my mind AND capture things I didn't even dream up yet. Not to mention she's the sweetest, funniest (follow her on instagram if you need a laugh!), most down-to-earth person ever. She is an animal lover, so she gets it, our pups are our babies and deserve all the attention and love that real children get 🙂 And she's ready to spoil them.
My dog, Oliver is getting older and these images are ones that I will cherish forever. Rita had no issue getting down on the ground or climbing anything she can find to capture the perfect angle, she's all over it. She's also amazing with animals, my dog has anxiety and is often nervous around new people, but she made him feel right at home (to the point where he wanted to lick her face instead of pose for photos, but even that was welcomed).

She imagined and built the live floral wall that was used as a background for these photos. It created such a unique and beautiful backdrop for these images and ensured that my photos would stand out from all the monotonous family portraits you see on social media. With Rita you get a photographer, art director, custom background maker, animal snuggler and new best friend you didn't even know you needed. Rita has photographed my family several times over the years and I am so lucky I found her to capture the momentous occasions and the every day, she can seriously do it all.
