Disgusted.
They photographed my child for four years. They were the only option offered by their school. Three times the photos were so bad I couldn't send them to family. Hair in front of her face, shoelaces untied, silly things they could have helped with regardless of social distancing. The final year they price gouged with a $15 charge to help with hair - I didn't pay and complained
The owner forwarded my angry email to the school to shame me. That was the year i got photos with untied laces. Tell me that wasnt intentional!!! Each year we purchased the $20 digital copy so we could at least have access to the photos in high resolution, for the years to come. For just as much you can buy a whole package of photos. Just sat down to order and put a couple on my wall and turns out these $20 files expire! So I paid for nothing. No quality and no actual files

No wonder why their yelp page is not claimed! Central unified started using them, and I gave them 3 chances before writing this review. The first time I called to ask a gerneral question about my son's sports pictures. I left a voice-mail and no one returned my phone call or email probably because I was inquiring about make ups. (No where on the form did it indicate that there weren't make ups) The next 2 times were for my daughters sports pictures too and she said they were just so rude, and too particular for no reason. Even rude to their Coach. I hope central unified ditches them and goes back to premier studios of California. I am actually going to find their page right now and give them a 5 star review because we never had a problem with them and their photographers were so nice and we miss them! I will be contacting the district.

Disappointed in the quality of our school photos these last couple years. There seems to be minimal care in helping our students look their best for the photo. Even simply helping my young daughters position their long hair behind their back or over their shoulder would be helpful in creating a polished photo. This year, my eldest is not even centered in the middle of the photo 🙁 For the cost, I'm just disappointed and wish our school chose another company.

My kids pictures had some technical issues,I communicated with Shelly and she was so helpful in resolving that issues.It was so easy to communicate with them about my concerns.They have excellent customer service which made me very happy.Shelly was very kind and polite and immediately resolved those issues.I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family for their photographs.

I cannot describe how disappointed I am with my son school pictures. Due to school closure, parents had to take their child to the school this year to get their photos taken. First off, my son is autistic and it took the photographer and I a while to get a good shot. When I received his school pictures, I was speechless. This photography place did not give a d*** about choosing a "decent" pose. They printed a pose of my son not looking at the camera and part of my hand holding my sons arm (In which the photographer at the time assured me that it wouldn't show). I called Island Photography to express how I feel and they suggest that I pick a new pose. When I received the new pose, I saw how bad & blurry the quality was. I don't know if the pictures were rushed or if this vendor just doesn't care about their customers. I don't think one should go through the trouble that I did.

They don’t even have proper lighting, they take horrible shots don’t even worry how it looks. Charge so much and the pictures are not even worth penny. My dog can even take better pictures than them.
