Jillian at J. Guthrie Photo is such a true joy and delight to work with. Not only did she come to photograph our small May ceremony, but she photographed a first look photo session with us after we ultimately had to cancel the reception!! My dress was in covid lockup in May, so I wasn't able to wear it at the original ceremony. Jillian made sure that we had pictures of the dress, and captured a first look moment for us, and that will forever mean the world to me. She even came over to photograph the centerpieces that we had worked so hard on!! She makes people feel so comfortable and has such an amazing eye for what will make a beautiful shot. She is immensely talented and an absolutely delightful person. And bonus, she works with any budget. She truly believes that every couple deserves beautiful photos, and will work with you, whatever your situation is. Case in point, she's done our engagement photos, our small ceremony photos, and now our first look photos, and in every instance, she went above and beyond for us. I will recommend her forever, and still cannot completely put into words how much she and her photos mean to us.

Jillian knocked it outta the park! *literally* They fulfilled all my 80-90s Hong Kong wedding inspiration. We are SO ecstatic with how our wedding photos turned out. Jillian made us feel so comfortable and i loved seeing the creative ideas come about while shooting. We will definitely be hiring Jillian again in the near future.

We enjoyed our session in the comfort of our own neighborhood and Jillian found unique spots I'd never even noticed, our own special scenery for fall family photos. She is creative, professional, and extremely talented. We left feeling certain our rambunctious 10mo old lab pup caused every potential shot to be nothing but a blur, but just look at these crisp action shots she produced! We were thrilled with our results and will definitely hire her for photos again in the future.

Patient photographer with little kids who captures their spirit! Jillian photographed our two and four year-old as well as the rest of our family. We couldn’t be happier with our photos that were a mix of posed and candid shots. Jillian was patient while we wrangled the kids for posed shots and was mindful of not just capturing the posed moments, but the ones in-between. By capturing photos of the kids running, picking flowers, and the adults interacting with them un-posed, she captured the essence of childhood and family bonds. She was also flexible when scheduling the photo shoot around the kids schedule and was an amazing value for the price.

Having Jillian photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions of the day. It was like having a friend along for the ride!
