Absolutely fantastic experience. The photographer, Steven Kramer, was a complete professional: kind and patient with my kids, and so nice. He made the session stress free and pleasant. The portraits he produced are gorgeous and museum quality! We would highly recommend Kramer Portraits if you are looking for the kind of quality that can be handed down over generations.

We stumbled onto Kramer Portraits around 2018 and in 2019, we bought our beautiful portrait. It was perfect and elegant and everything you’d ever want in a professional portrait. The artistry is amazing and worth every penny for such a family heirloom. Fast forward to March 2021. We moved from Georgia to Texas and somehow during the move, our portrait, along with our Italian oil paintings and other artwork, loosened from the moving truck, fell to the interstate, and was destroyed. This was heartbreaking. We thought it was gone forever. On a random hope, we called Kramer, told them what happened, and sent photos of what we could pick up off the interstate (attached). The beautiful frame was gone and tire tracks were across the canvas. I cried when they called back to tell me they will replace it 100%. We received the mail tracking number today for our replacement. We cried again. This is worth it for your family. We can’t wait to get back to DC to have our children included next time. Professionalism doesn’t begin to describe this company and we’ll recommend them again and again. Thank you!

First let me say that my family has had professional portraits taken before with another professional photographer and that experience with this other photographer at another studio was great and the portraits that resulted from that photo session were awesome. My family's Kramer Portraits photo session was great! However, the portraits resulting from that session were fine, but not great in my opinion. Kramer's poses were fantastic; Kramer has an amazing eye! I'm just not a fan of how the portraits look somehow fake. I didn't just think that about my family's photos, I thought this about most of their display photos as well. They use a technique to make the photos look somewhat like paintings. I'm just not a fan of that style, but again, the poses were off the chart amazing! If I could do it again, minus that fake painting look, I would, but if that's the only style they offer, then I doubt I would book another photo session with them again. Some may like that style, so I recommend at least looking at their work before making a decision about using them or not. I give them 4 stars for the photo session, 4.5 stars for how people are posed in photos, and 3 stars for the portrait that results from those sessions.

Everything from the initial portrait session to the finalization of the pictures for the portraits was pretty amazing and professional. Steven
Kramer did hell of a job in controlling my one year old's for the pictures and depicting them on the canvas perfectly. We even went above and beyond and ordered a second portrait too utilizing the $2500 coupon plus paying 400 dollars on top of it. The portraits look like a piece of art created by the renaissance artists.

UPDATES TO THE REVIEW:

We had a shipping issue and were a little upset by our new address which caused issues and the UPS Debacle, which was sorted out in the end eventually. Peter Kramer called and explained how everything unfolded and to compensate, even sent us two additional portraits because of what we had to go through. A well deserved five star service right there when the top management takes out the time personally to rectify even the slightest of mishaps.

Can refer this to friends and family whole heartedly !!!

The portrait experience was very welcoming and professional.

From the moment we walked into the studio with our extended family of 13, we were greeted with the utmost courtesy and professionalism that continued throughout the photo sessions, the selection of the pictures, and follow up calls until delivery.
