She managed to make us feel comfortable during the main photo shoot and was descreet during the other moments of our two-day celebration. The result is an album that truly captures the sheer happiness of that day in a way that is genuine and natural. Our wedding video didn’t capture our voice and my husband’s vows aren’t even in the video. Entire sections were left out. It was delivered over a month late. I reached out to Laura about these concerns, she said she would get back to me in a couple weeks. This was over 2 months ago. I now try to email her and get an automated “out of office email.” We got ghosted for wanting our full wedding video that we PAID for. My husband’s vows aren’t even in the video and you can’t hear us at all. The most important thing to us for our wedding was our photos and video. That’s all we cared about. We had a small budget and chose to prioritize photos and video over everything else. Our most cherished day of our lives we can hardly relive without accompanied frustration that we did not receive what we paid for and then got GHOSTED. Very unprofessional and absolutely terrible. Save yourself the heartache and pick someone else 🙁

I secured Laurentina Photography for my Ribbon Cutting. Laura capturing every moment without being intrusive. Most of the time I didn’t realize she was there until I reviewed the shots later. She captured beautiful posed pictures including the actual cutting of the ribbon itself and group photos. During the posed pictures, she provided subtle cues to get photography that looked professional without being stiff. Additionally, she captured candid conversation shots with an artists eye and special moments like a hug with my family. I am so very grateful to her as I now have these professional photographs to showcase the event, for use on my website and for future marketing. She truly exceeded my expectations. I would not recommend trusting Laura to be your wedding day photographer. She is a pleasant person and her work in a controlled, one-on-one environment such as an engagement shoot is good. On our wedding day, I was disappointed beyond words with Laura. I will start with the fact that she LOST more than an hour of photos. This included pictures of my husband going table to table during the reception taking individual pictures with our guests, our cake cutting, and our sparkler exit.

Six weeks to the day Laura delivered the photos as stated in the contract. At this time she was forthcoming about the loss of photos and offered an offensively low refund. Which I explained to her that we could not accept this for the following reasons—we spent more time taking pictures with our guests, going table to table, than enjoying the latter part our reception because we had many guests travel from distant places. And we wanted to send those pictures to them with thank you notes. The cake photos, sparklers exit, and group photos outside the venue are disappointing to be lost but all those photos of us and numerous guests at the reception was an irreplaceable loss. Her final offer was to refund 9.89% of our invoiced amount, not good enough.

My other huge gripe with her wedding day performance was she had no command or direction over the photos with large parties at all. I would suggest that you would need to have a wedding planner to work with her because she is unable to take charge and work towards achieving the photos you list as the "must-have" shots.

Laura excels in outdoor photos with natural light and no need for a flash, which look natural, and candids. On the final photos that were delivered, many of our indoor photos had no consistency in hues, warmth, and brightness. I was washed out in many of the "directed" indoor photos at our church, because of the flash. We brought this to her attention and she was very responsive in being willing to do the edits, but the edits were thoughtless unusable changes.

Laura has been photographing our family for four years. We love working with her! She is so patient with our two little ones who never seem to cooperate for pictures. They run wild most of the time and she still manages to capture amazing photos. The photos are always beautiful- we couldn't be happier.
