For my review, I feel like I need to give a little bit of background of me as an individual. I grew up having countless surgeries on my face as a result of being born with a cleft lip and palate. My entire life, I have shied away from cameras and felt an overwhelming feeling of self consciousness whenever it came time to “say cheese.” However, I decided to book photos because I wanted to be in a handful of the thousands of photos I have of my seven month old son. The reason that I chose Maria out of other photographers was not only because of her ability to capture the perfect image but because of her ability to enhance that image digitally. Her editing skills with details such lighting, sharpness, color, and contrast really are what separate her from competitors.

I wasn't feeling well for my original shoot date and she collaborated with her make-up artist to accommodate me and figure out another date that worked around my schedule. When it came time for my session, my makeup application began right away and Maria did a great job bonding with my son despite that he had refused to nap beforehand. I was very worried that he would not be in any sort of mood for photographs. She really did a great job sparking his interests and enthusiasm and his personality just bursted out. Maria was very mindful of certain angles that I like photographed due to all my underlaying issues I described at the start of my review. When it came time to view my photos, they were beautifully placed in a slideshow presentation. The images I selected for my prints were available in two days and the quality is exceptional. All in all, my photos came out phenomenal and better than I could have ever imagined. I am so glad that I put my trust in Maria and I have already booked with her again.
