They will pull you in with promises of lower rates and good service. This is far from what you will receive. They are the definition of bait and switch. They raised the rates after we had switched to them, indicating they had actually written the wrong type of policy and it would be DOUBLE what I had originally paid. A year later, after being on a payment plan, we are all the sudden late on payments. They are the WORST.

Not a great company to deal with. Will find any reason to slow down claims. As if people simply have unlimited resources to wait until SF decides if you deserve a rental so you have a means to get to work. This is despite the at fault being caught on camera with a police report containing an admission of liability from the policy owner. In the meantime they encourage you to out of pocket with no guarantee they won't stiff you on the settlement. In this economy fewer and fewer people have the kind of money to be jerked around like this and they just don't care.

I was fortunate to be referred to Allison at State Farm when the carrier I had coverage with for 10+ years decided to cease operating! The BEST customer service in the insurance industry can be found in Marsha's office! I have been using her as agent for almost 10 years now and have never had an issue.

They will call me periodically just to check in and when lower rates or better services are available they always notify me. We have bundled our auto, house, and life and get great rates. I check around periodically and no one has been able to beat them.
