I love everything about Matt Mathews Boudoir!! I’ve shot with both Matt and Brianna multiple times and can wholeheartedly say that first, you cannot tell a difference between who’s taking the pictures— the talent is unbelievable. Second, the experience is so uplifting and positive. And last, you’ll walk away feeling like a million bucks! My last shoot was a maternity session with Brianna and she took the most beautiful and CREATIVE pictures of me, my pregnant belly, and even my husband even jumped in on a few! Their makeup artist, Lauren, is freaking amazing and nails the look every. time.
I can’t recommend shooting with the MM team. It’s worth the investment in yourself!

I really hate the fact that I have to write a bad review. I was so excited to have this experience and I paid an extra $1500 to have Matt do my photos. I flew in from Colorado because I hoped to have a great experience with what I thought would be a great photographer. I spent well over $6000 for this experience and what I left with was very sad. I specifically asked not to have any of the butt shots included in my stuff that I purchased and every single item I ordered had them. So needless to say everything I purchased I cannot use and I am so disappointed. I even sent a reminder email the next day and was told I was too late? All through my session all he did was complain about his carpal tunnel in his wrist hurting and half way through told me he was running out of poses? Needless to say all my pics look like the same pose. Bri his assistant did take over after a bit and her photos were the best ones taken. So I spent all this money and cannot even enjoy the products because they have pics I absolutely did not want in there. So disappointed.

Bri is an absolute joy to work with! From the first contact with her she was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She was the exact same in person on shoot day. So kind and the best hype friend. Absolutely recommend her a million times.

When I went into the studio, I was terrified. Within a few minutes though, Matt had me and my husband laughing and really enjoying the experience. In fact, when we were doing the couples pictures, we couldn't quit giggling. Yep. Two middle aged people, married over twenty years, and we couldn't quit giggling. I wasn't aware until the reveal that Matt was taking pictures while we were trying to pull it together. Those are my favorites.

I found out something else during the reveal too. I am not the overweight, frumpy person I've been seeing in my head. I have severe depression and my self esteem is about as low as it can be. When I saw those pictures though, I text my husband (I just didn't have the courage to say it out loud) " Is that really how I look?" He answered with just one word. "Yea".

This morning, I got up a little earlier. I fixed my hair, and added a little makeup. Instead of jeans, I put on a skirt and heels. My new Matt Matthews sweatshirt finished it off. I know I'll have to take it off later, but it was nice on the drive to work, with the radio blaring and the windows down.

I know that my mood won't always be this high, depression isn't solved in a day (or even a year), but I have those pictures, and I have yesterday. When I am in a bad spell, I know that the way Bri and Lauren and Matt made me feel, thats not going anywhere.

I have been considering visiting Matt for some time but always ended up being too scared. Even the morning of my shoot I thought about canceling out of nervousness. That all disappeared once I got there. From picking out last minute outfits in the boutique, to hair and makeup (with mimosas), all the way to my amazing shoot the experience was fun, exciting and empowering. Matt was very reassuring and encouraging. At the same time he was also receptive to my input. There was one specific shot I wanted and he worked with me to make sure we got it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the same day reveal. I was literally tearing up seeing my pictures. I look forward to working with Matt in the future and would recommend him to anyone who wants to see just how amazing and beautiful they really are.

I recently had my third session with Matt and his team. I love every minute of my experience. One thing that never gets old is the renewed self confidence and empowerment.

Matt, you truly have a gift. Not only are you a talented photographer, but you have this wonderful gift of helping women love themselves. I've not only experienced it, but have seen it with my friends and family who have been in studio. Thank you for loving on them and helping them realize how amazing they are. You're simply the best.

To anyone questioning if they should book a session, the answer is yes. I know that not everyone is looking for a life saving experience. I've been in studio three times, yes three times Matt can't get rid of me, but each time I've gained something different. Invest in yourself, and you'll gain more than just pretty pictures.
