We had looked at dozens of photographers trying to find someone who fit our plans for our wedding, when we found Merissa. From the first phone call we knew we would get along well, and she made every step of the process easy. We were impressed she scouted our elopement site almost a year before the date, and she seemed almost as excited as we were! The wedding day she was a huge help, organizing family, keeping us on time, and just being a part of our small celebration. We couldn't have asked for a a better experience capturing our day!

Merissa was tremendous to work with in planning my surprise proposal in Glacier National Park! She picked a phenomenal location after I had described the kind of background I wanted.

I cannot say enough good things about Merissa! I hired her for a proposal shoot and then we did portraits for an hour after. I was nervous about planning a proposal in a place/state I had never been to, but she was extremely helpful in planning and giving me great recommendation to make everything go smoothly. She even gave me helpful hints of which way I should stand or face during the proposal to make sure she is able to capture the best moment. You are not just getting a photographer with Merissa but also someone to help plan the special moment. Since I wasn't from the area she was great about taking us around to several beautiful scenic areas to jump out and snap cute photos that we are obsessed with!! Her photos make us look like we are in a catalog they are so professional. I usually feel awkward when someone is taking photos but she made us feel very comfortable. I am so glad that she was the person I chose to be a part of our special moment. I just wish we could fly her out to photograph our wedding.
