Nick is an amazing photographer AND a wonderful person to work with. Taking photos is not my strong suit and he made me feel so comfortable and also offered a LOT of great ideas. He suggested poses I was comfortable with (and looked GREAT) and added to my original ideas (with lighting and backdrops) to make them come to life in a way I wasn’t even expecting. I’ve had some photoshoots in the past…these are by far the best photos to be taken of me in a controlled setting. If you need photos - call Nick. You will not regret it!

Nick went above and beyond to capture the perfect engagement photos for us. He made the shoot very fun and comfortable while also helping with expert creative directing to get the most natural poses and most beautiful lighting and scenery. After seeing many pictures of DC artists taken by Nick, it was an easy decision to book him for my band Project Locrea's next photoshoot. Me and Nick discussed in advance ideas for how to best represent the specific vibe of the band and he suggested the space Treehouse Dreamers in DC. The space fit our vibe perfectly and we were able to get two different background settings in the same space, which is a dream. Nick is super easy and fun to work with. He easily made us feel very comfortable and was open to suggestions for poses and setups while having plenty of his own. As a huge plus he has THE best world music playlist on his phone which was very appropriate and inspiring for the shoot. We also got some solo shots with our instrumenst which the band loved. I would highly recommend Nick for band and solo shots if you need a certain wow factor in your pictures.

I could not recommend Nick Moreland more as a photographer, he is as professional and gifted as they come. He has made quite a positive impression in the Washington, D.C. music community for his creative and stylized photos that appear on many artists’ social media pages.
