Absolutely the Most Perfect Day!!

My husband and I were truly blessed by the experience and hospitality at Oak Island Mansion. To have the opportunity to celebrate our wedding with family and friends EXACTLY the way we had imagined, was priceless! We researched and visited countless venues and as soon as we layed eyes on Oak Island and formerly met Cody, we knew we had found THE VENUE for our most memorable day. During the initial planning phase, and leading up to our BIG Day in October, Cody was awesome in every way. He provided all details and answered any questions we asked in a very expeditious manner. We appreciated Cody, thanks so much! The Onsite Coordinator and her team were exceptional and so very helpful as well. They even helped my team transform the ceremony site and reception locations without any flaws.Thankyou you all for the service, attention to detail, and the professionalism!! Oak Island is beautiful and was our home away from home our wedding weekend. We decided to stay on premise for 3 days and enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The Mansion is beautiful inside and out, so you'll find there isnt a need for much decor. If your in search of a venue with unlimited options, look no further, Oak Island Mansion should be your top choice!

Mere words scarcely describe the beauty of getting married at Oak Island Mansion. Without doubt, choosing the perfect venue is the starting point for any bride and groom. My husband and I ran across Oak Island by happenstance, but I am so happy we did. The drive down the road and across the bridge quite literally takes your breath away for its sheer beauty. It definitely doesn’t stop there… multiple spots to choose for the ceremony and reception, a pool, a Roman pavilion, spot for a bonfire, boathouse, dock, and lest one forgets … the mansion which is amazing. We were set on having a barn wedding and were dismayed at all the restrictions and the price at each one we visited. When we got to Oak Island and took a tour, we were amazed at the elongated hours we were able to rent the venue and the ability to make most of our own arrangements instead of being so tied down and limited with our options as well as extremely competitive pricing at the island. We were able to save thousands of dollars by simply having the ability to hire our own bartender and caterer and not be limited to pre-set lists from another venue and that is just a couple of the ways we were able to cut costs. Those savings allowed us to spend money other ways and we truly had the fairy tale wedding that all little girls only dream of. The staff at Oak Island was amazing, helpful, and surpassed all expectations. The only cloud on our wedding day was filled with rain and the staff at Oak Island were all over everything when plans had to be changed last minute due to the weather. We had to bring everything inside the mansion due to rain and the staff onsite quite literally flipped the ballroom from ceremony to reception (tables, centerpieces, and place settings) in under five minutes. I cannot speak volumes enough on what an amazingly beautiful wedding day we experienced and the service with which Oak Island provided.

We had our wedding here May 13th, 2023, and it was the most magical day! Cody was great to communicate with during our whole experience and always there to answer our questions! We were able to stay in the island the entire weekend so it felt like a wedding weekend not just a wedding day! There are so many beautiful and special spots on the island! It truly was the best day thanks to Oak Island!!

My husband and I got married at Oak Island and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made. Cody was amazing! He was very accommodating to our needs and requests. He was easy to reach and talk to whenever we had questions. We rented the island for 3 nights to give us time to enjoy the island as well as set up decorations that we wanted for our wedding. The house itself is very beautiful inside and out. It such a unique venue, which made our wedding even more special. Everyone that is part of the Oak Island team was wonderful! They all worked well with us and helped us in any way they can. Thank you for making our day extra special with your hospitality. I definitely recommend this venue to any brides looking for a unique and beautiful venue.

Also I absolutely love the owner Stancil he was amazed to work with and I loved his sense of humor! he was great. He was always ready to help and was super friendly. This property is stunning! Everything about our experience was amazing. We had our wedding here on April 10th and it was everything I ever wanted. Cody, Elizabeth, and the whole Oak Island Team were amazing! It is a great venue for anyone looking to get married on the lake. It is truly a venue only so you're able to choose all your own vendors rather than having to use the provided vendors as it is with some venues. We had our rehearsal dinner at the mansion Friday night and the entire wedding party was able to stay both Friday and Saturday which made thing so easy! I would absolutely, 100% recommend this venue for any wedding or event!
