Ailecia did a great job with our engagement and wedding photos. The engagement was a surprise and she helped me plan the details and keep it secret! She is good at capturing specific personalities and candid moments. LGBT friendly and listens to all our specific wants and needs as a lesbian couple.

However, it was a bit difficult to get our wedding photos back in the end - they got to us about a month later than they should have. She let us know the reasons, but I would rather have professionalism and concise answers than hear a lot of excuses when something simple goes wrong. In the end she is sweet and well-meaning.

The moment I first met with Ailecia, I felt like she had a great grasp of what I needed and wanted. Our conversation was easy, she had a lot of great ideas, and also appreciated my input regarding cultural nuances. She also reminded me of some really creative friends I missed from the country I moved out of, which made me feel much less like a fish out of water. On the day of my wedding, I was going a bit mental over preps, lack of sleep and a series of unfortunate accidents, but she was so calm and had helped me get my wits together. Once the event was over, she gave me all the photos in a timely manner and checked up on how I was doing, even if she'd only known me since I hired her. Another great bonus is that she got my normally shy husband out of his shell, and he really likes her (he can say that of so few people outside of family and friends, so his seal of approval is a huge plus). All together is an amazing wedding photographer and a lovely human being, and if you're in Lawrence KS I swear Oh! Snap! is worth every penny. (Full disclosure: My sister helped me find Ailecia, so I have to give her credit for knowing we would mesh well!)

I really enjoyed working with Ailecia and her team and the images they captured are amazing. I was planning our wedding long-distance which was an added challenge but Ailecia was great about communication. Always quick to respond and with detailed answers. Made life so much easier.

Everyone knows that planning a wedding can be somewhat stressful. But with OH! SNAP! Photography, you can rest assured that the photographer will be the least stressful part of all.
