Kari is efficient, flexible and patient. She did our families newborn session. Kari took many pictures and we had an excellent selection. We went back to her this winter for our holiday photos. The studio is gorgeous and comfy. We love our pictures and will be going to her again.

Kari has done family photos for us and also photos of nature which I have hanging as art in my home. She has a knack for timing and for making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I also like her editing skills and like how she doesn’t take the editing too far-only enhances what’s naturally there.

Ruin my daughter 18th birthday pictures. Rush job. 13 dollars to park. Small dingy studio. The prop tub was filthy. The studio was freezing. Photos were over exposed. Poor positioning, I spoke with her and made sure to record the phone call because I know how ugly things can get with poor services. Had to make a dispute, she hung up the phone in my face extremely. Unprofessional, combative, defensive. and has no appreciation for the art of photography. She's just a person with a camera.

Kari took our engagement photos one evening when the sun was setting. She asked what we wanted out of our session, I personally don’t like the posed photos I feel awkward. We did a couple of them but honestly we were relaxed by then and they just flowed. Definitely recommend Kari and overland park photography for all your photos!!

My daughter was NOT happy with her pictures!!!!. I REALLY WISH SHE WAS HONEST WITH YOU, BUT SHE'S NOT A CONFRONTATIONAL PERSON. She was a minor at the time of the shoot. I am the one paid for the photos. I was not happy with them! I spent hours on applications editing the pictures So, she could have something to post on her actual birth date!!!! No one insulted you. I recorded both phone conversations!!!! Everyone is not gonna be happy with your services! It's part of business!!! I guess, customer is always right.It's out the window. These reviews mean nothing to me. Because I know how family and friends can give five stars!
You made little to no effort to accommodate whatsoever. She has a graduation coming up. You could've offered discount pricing. You could Have offered a 20 minute retake session to redo some of her birthday photos. You offered me absolutely nothing!!! everything I stated that was wrong with the pictures you took no accountability for! I filed a dispute because you didn't call me back that morning or afternoon!! And when I tried to call you, no one answer. When you saw the dispute is only when you decided to call me back! None of this was done behind your back! Everything is documented with phone records! I am on disability at the moment and on a fixed income!!! And still managed to pay you every dime of your money!!! no one is trying to scam you!!!
I only disputed half the amount which was being nice. Considering I didn't like any of the pictures. Because I understand time is money.You even lied about the paid parking and said it was five dollars and it was thirteen dollars!! I hate this whole experience. I should have went to JC. Penney's!!!, That's what I get for trying to support local business!!! I have integrity and class and tact about everything I do in life! Wrong is wrong and right is right! No matter what I said or did you were not trying to fix the situation!! So I basically got robbed!!! But that's okay, because there's a such thing called universal law (karma) and it always comes back around!

We hired Kari/OP Photography to capture our daughter's 1st birthday party and it was such a stress free experience! Mind you, I had looked and looked, sent multiple messages to photographers and couldn't find but a couple who offered this type of service. Kari was one of the first to respond and was friendly right out the gate.

This was our first time having a party captured by a professional photographer and we cannot recommend it enough! We weren't quite sure what to expect, but the results didn't disappoint. It was so nice to NOT be on our phones (trying to take pictures/videos), rather we got to enjoy the party and spend time with family. Working with Kari was so great. She always responded quickly to my messages, was open to my ideas and super friendly! Even though this was our first time working together, it felt like she was just another part of the family. She blended in, yet managed to capture some beautiful photos. We even had some time at the end of the party, when all the activities were over, and Kari graciously took some photos of the family as well as offered to take anyone's picture that wanted them.

If you are on the fence about paying for a professional photographer to capture your loved one's party, don't be! It was worth it a thousand times over and I wish I would have done it for my other child's first birthday! I look forward to working with Kari in the future, she's great with kids, friendly, professional and creates beautiful memories!

We hired OverlandPark Photography for my friend's wedding this past Saturday. We started looking for photographers 3 weeks before the wedding! We did not think we were going to find someone that late but to our surprise Kari was able to squeeze us in last minute!! We also chose to have the wedding on the hottest day of the year!! It was 100+ degrees outside and Kari was a champ! She pulled through and was able to document this very special day for our family. Thank you so much, defintely recommend her!
