We love Petal & Vine! As a hub for hands-on learning, there are magical moments happening in the Museum each day—an infant exploring new textures, a toddler shopping in our Publix exhibit, a 9-year-old making their latest artistic creation. Many of these moments are shared experiences between caregivers, children, and museum staff. But they are quick moments, and often difficult to capture without ruining the magic. Lee Anne always captures them!
Lee Anne knows HOW to take photos. She catches the action right as it unfolds and without interrupting. There is no staging. Subjects aren’t asked to pause/ hold their position/ move a certain way. Movement happens naturally and without parameters, and Lee Anne follows.
She has an uncanny ability to put her subjects at ease. Some children / adults clam up or get shy when cameras appear. Not with Lee Anne.
The photos we get back are full of smiles, with children and families engaging together—how pictures would look if you could take them just by blinking your eyes.

Lee Anne is beyond phenomenal. She has been our family photographer through every single milestone of our family from maternity photos, birth photos and newborn photos with each of our children, numerous family pictures and special portrait requests to school photos this year. Lee Anne has a way of capturing the most beautiful moments even when the conditions are challenging (with toddlers/babies/Florida heat etc.) Not only is she the best at what she does as a photographer, but she is so kind, easy-going, and fun to be around. Our kids love her and so do we.

Hiring Petal & Vine Photography to shoot our wedding was the first step we took in planning our big day and it was easily the best investment we made. My daughters and I had Petal & Vine do a “lifestyle” shoot in our home, photographing us while we were doing the things we usually do together: playing, reading, cooking, just being together.

When I first saw the resulting photographs, I cried for joy over how beautiful and meaningful they were.

These photos are no ordinary studio portraits. These photos are works of art; they are acts of witness and documentation and storytelling of the life and love we share together as a family. I will cherish them forever.

Also, the shoot itself was a lot of fun and the least stressful professional photography experience I think I’ve ever had. For instance, we tidied the apartment before but it wasn’t perfectly clean and that didn’t matter at all.

Everyone who gets a chance should hire Petal & Vine for this sort of shoot.

Lee Anne provided a beautiful and meaningful experience for my family. My children were anxious and resistant to the idea of family photos, but Lee Anne's approach to the in-home legacy session put them at ease instantly. She spent hours with us and by the end, we did not want her to leave. The prints magically capture some of our most day to day moments. It is exactly what I wanted.

Can’t recommend Petal&Vine Photography enough. I’ve personally done three sessions with Lee Anne so far since meeting her two years ago. All 3 being SO worth the expense for professional photos. LA is an extremely talented photographer. She’s also so easy to love. She’s saved one of my sessions from a wardrobe malfunction. She’s the kind of photographer willing to get into the bushes during your session for that perfect shot (and literally has for me). She knows just the right way to make you smile and laugh naturally. My wife and I decided to take picture of us and our dog and honestly I researched so many people and had hard time finding the right person for the job as I am very hard to work with, but Lee Anne put me at ease and was easy for my wife and I to get so many amazing picture. She knew the right location of where to go to get the best picture and she is very knowledgeable and very people person as I am not a people person, but Lee Anne was great and made the process very smooth. I plan on using her in the future as she worked well with us. I honestly liked every picture she took. I usually don't like to share pictures, but here is one of the best pictures of my dog- he was also very hard to work as he was curious of who this person was and had treat ready for him.
