I came to this place a year ago for an emergency job for my work, and Sammy saved my butt! Fast forward a year, and I needed some photos developed from my time in the desert. Sammy had sent them to me almost before I got back home off the train (and I live...3 stops away). The photos look unbelievable, and I honestly don't know how he does it so fast. 11/10, if you have any kind of film needs, go here!

After a years of developing my photos at a different place, I went to Sammy one day when it was closed, and I haven’t looked back. He always develops my film much faster than any other place I’ve gone, and can deliver digitized versions to me via email. He’s really kind and accommodating and just amazing at what he does. I’ve been developing film with him for a few years now and am always impressed by the entire experience — the price, the convenience, the quality, and the way he treats his customers.

possibly my new all time fav place in the city to develop film. went on a friday after work a half hour before closing and they were able to take and develop my film. best part? i got my scans back two hours later :’) recommend 100% high res too!!

I went about an hour before closing to drop off film, and I was not guaranteed to get my scans back the same day (even though I was super hopeful). Not only did I receive my pictures but they turned out incredible!! So incredibly impressed with the fast turnaround even on short timing!! I was only visiting New York for the week but if i was local Sammy’s would definitely be my spot!!

Sammy’s place is the place to go if you want the speediest high quality photo service in Manhattan. I was visiting New York with friends and we had many disposable cameras. I wanted to get them developed before heading on the plane in order to avoid and challenges with X-ray. Sammy managed to get me high res scans and prints within 2.5h. Efficient and friendly service!

He scanned and printed a 35mm slide incorrectly, cutting off part of the image. I asked him immediately NOT to print the photo when I saw the botched scan, but he did it anyway and then wouldn't refund me any portion of the $80 I paid. I cried on the street because he'd ruined my Christmas present for someone I love! Total scam - so many better places in NY to get film developed

Had 120 developed only. I've never had film come back dirtier than here. Probably fine if you're just having 4x6 prints made from 35mm, but if you're scanning your film, go somewhere else. I wouldn't complain if it was $5 a roll, but for $8-9 a roll, other labs will take better care of your film for the same price.
