From the moment we first met Laura for our engagement session, it was clear we were in the hands of a professional that was passionate about her craft. She carried that momentum forward along with the rest of her team for our wedding day. Laura was always open to our ideas and made sure to include specific shots we wanted in the final product. Laura and Maria did a great job and were super patient working with our 3 dogs that we wanted involved in the pictures and ceremony. My husband and I are so glad we chose Southern Love Creative/Nik Nguyen for our wedding photography. We had the pleasure of working with Nicole on our wedding day and she was so sweet and easy to work with. She answered all the questions I had beforehand and didn't seem phased at all when last minute changes to the schedule came up.

We received our gallery back just a little over a month after the wedding and not only is the site organized so well but the photos are a dream!! Nicole captured little details and moments that I don't even remember happening. She was also a pro at putting my veil back on after it blew off a few steps into walking down the aisle.

We shared the gallery with our family members and they all said that our photos came back beautifully. SLC was the first vendor we booked for our wedding over a year out and I am so glad we chose them. Nicole was great at capturing our low key/relaxed vibe and I keep going through the gallery multiple times a day because the photos are just that beautiful. My partner and I had our minimony (small courthouse wedding) photos taken by Nicole at Southern Love Creative, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was with her and with the whole agency. In our initial calls and planning calls, she helped us think through the logistics of the day and what we wanted. And on the day of she was absolutely lovely - keeping up with our exuberant nieces and nephews, our parents, and our siblings with ease. She even helped hold my partner's wallet and keys so his suit would look nice in the pictures! We just received the photos and are blown away - we absolutely loved them and treasure them so much. Her candid and journalistic approach makes you feel like you are really living the day again with us. Our only regret is we didn't book her for all our wedding events and have even more photos!

My wife and I couldn’t be happier to have worked with Nikk for our wedding. Seriously, this guy is an absolute monster behind the camera, while also being extremely professional and easy to work with. My wife and I both are not the types who love to have our photos taken – we both tend to stiffen up and pose unnaturally, but Nikk made us feel incredibly comfortable while also making us look way cooler than we actually are. Everybody tells us we look like we belong in a magazine – it’s absolutely wild. His eye for capturing unique moments is amazing, and he gave us the perfect balance of moments throughout the evening that are intimate, candid, and posed – all of which are incredible. All of his shots feel cohesive together, and looking through our entire library actually feels like I’m following a narrative and reliving our wedding as if we were in the eyes of one of our guests. After our virtual meeting, we felt completely comfortable giving Nikk the freedom to join us and capture everything he wanted, while also capturing a healthy list of things we absolutely wanted. Nikk went above and beyond to capture everything we wanted, and then gave us way more than we ever thought we could need, all the while being very timely and professional. I’d recommend Nikk to absolutely anybody — it’s hard to express just how stoked we are with his work.

I knew when we met Laura for our engagement photos we made the right choice, though after receiving our wedding photos she has exceeded my expectations! She perfectly captured our unique vibe and made the entire process so easy. Her emphasis on candid shots gave us a beautiful assortment of pictures for our big day.
