The technical support staff at Starfront was very friendly and was there to greet me when I dropped off my equipment. They were able to answer any questions I had. It took the staff less than 24 hours to install my equipment and I was able to image the following day. Thanks for the quick turn-around!

I'm a new customer, actually so new I have only had one night. This experience has been unbelievable. I understand that timing can vary and I probably got lucking on when my equipment arrived but. My equipment arrived on Wednesday afternoon and the team immediately started going through it and setting everything up. I really did not expect that. On Wednesday early evening, I got a message that the scope was set up and assuming nothing crazy happened, I would be imaging the next, Thursday night. That is exactly what happened. The tech team was communicating with me all the time and very quick response. We had some minor glitches with things coming online but within 15 or 20 minutes that was all worked out and I got a message, "All Yours!". I started testing everything, No issues. The polar alignment they did was fantastic. Focus of the guide scope was excellent. They stayed in touch until everything was working great and I was off and running. I really liked all the communication and the pictures they sent me. I understand they have a lot of scopes to look after and a lot of tickets. New rigs coming in all the time. They are working very hard to get to everyone as quickly as possible and I certainly appreciate it. I most certainly did not expect to be running the night after the equipment arrived. Thankful. I think sending a detailed writeup of your equipment and how things are set up is very important. Looking forward to many more clear, dark nights. Eric Horton

Starfront is in a class of its own for affordable access to dark skies. The site is in a great location with dark skies, the facility is well-equipped, and the support staff are very knowledgable and helpful. I dropped off my gear in person, and they had it installed and hooked up in less than four hours! It was polar aligned the first clear night after that, and the staff were very helpful finding and resolving initial setup issues (USB connectivity in my case). The connectivity is also great - I have logged gigabit transfer speeds for downloading data from my rig remotely. I would easily recommend SFRO to any astrophotographer, at any stage of experience: from the beginner, to the expert.

I have been pleased with the service and functionality of their installation and the communication platform. This has been my first true remote imaging experience. I found the transition from backyard imaging pretty seamless. If you can remotely operate your equipment from the comfort of your house, you can expect your equipment to function at Starfront.

I'm a new customer at Starfront, but what I can say is my experience so far has been nothing short of wonderful. The team at Starfront is very knowledgeable and incredibly quick to address any issues I've had.

Once my equipment was delivered they had me set up and ready to go the following day! I ran into some issues with my initial setup that needed to be addressed (my fault not theirs) and they worked with me every step of the way - my setup is actually better than what I had at home thanks to their expertise. Now that I'm set up correctly I'm logging in, shooting images every day and loving it.

The images I get from Starfront are vastly improved from my own Bortle 6-7 skies. The few targets I've processed have been great- I can't wait to get several months of data under my belt and see what is possible.

I was initially a little intimidated about sending a telescope to a remote observatory, but SFRO made the entire process as seamless as possible. The staff was great to communicate with and had my scope completely configured and aligned within a few days (results vary based on their workload). On night one, I had some of the best guiding results I’ve ever seen. Cannot recommend SFRO enough! If you’re intimidated about sending a scope to SFRO, don’t be - join the Discord, learn about the process, and pull the trigger. You will not regret it!

Absolutely phenomenal crew. Incredible skies. Very professional setup, and the price is a steal compared to alternatives. One of the best parts though is the Discord. It’s not really advertised, but it’s like a star party every night. Incredible community. Super supportive. I’ve learned more in two months in the customer Discord than the past 4 years.
