5 Stars – A Hidden Gem for Photographers!

I’ve been going to Studio40e for about a year now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made to hone my photography skills. The space itself is perfect for shooting clients, offering a clean, versatile environment with everything a photographer could need. But what truly sets this studio apart is their monthly workshops. They’re incredibly informative, well-run, and provide valuable insights for photographers of all levels. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills or learn new techniques, the workshops are a fantastic resource.

Tamara, the owner, has created a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for photographers, and her dedication to helping others grow is evident in everything the studio offers.

If you’re a photographer in the area or just looking to grow your craft, I highly recommend checking out Studio40e. It’s a place to create, learn, and connect with a great community of creatives!

I’ve been to Studio40E several times for a variety of creative events. It’s great space all way from the abundant parking, to the studio, to the additional areas for shooting in the hallway. The studio has a great set up with an outer waiting room and changing area (has a lighted mirror and chairs for doing hair and makeup), and an inner room for shooting. The owner is so wonderful! She’s pleasant, professional, and even keeps a fridge stocked with Spindrifts! I highly encourage you to check out the space, as well as the workshop offerings. I’m a model who lives in Virginia, and I make the drive because the space and experience is worth it.

Took one of lighting workshops at the studio last weekend and it was truly amazing. The studio is beautiful and has everything you need, the facilitators were extremely knowledgeable and easy to connect with, and also got to get to know a few other photographers. Would definitely recommend!

I had a good time shooting at the studio. It’s very easy to fine, and to access all the Godox flashpoint lights and modifiers are there. I usually bring my lights when I shoot at a studio but there is no need to here. My client enjoyed the vibes and I’ll use the studio again.

If you’re looking for a studio space to shoot in or mentors to learn from, look no further than 40E. The space itself is so inviting and beautiful and the owner is so incredibly communicative and kind. I was fortunate enough to participate during one of 40E’s monthly lighting workshops, and had the best time. The 40E team has built the most amazing photographer/model community and really takes care of their own. I highly recommend checking this space and community out for all your photoshoot needs!

Studio 40E was such a vibe! This year we opted for an in-studio family photoshoot and we were amazed at how comfortable we were. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Every inch of the studio is well thought out with care for the client in mind. From the changing area to the waiting area to the ambiance overall, nothing but a wonderful experience.
