I've worked with Tina in multiple shoots over the years and I'm always so pleased with the high quality of images I receive. Even though I'm in front of the camera frequently, I'm still not confident in posing. Tina is an expert at posing and sharing behind the camera during the shoot, which gives me confidence that we're getting "the shot" and allows me to be more of myself. I have been photographed professionally many times in the past 10 years. No experience has ever come close to the Modern Portrait Experience with Tina Leu Fotos. Tina’s professionalism and attention to detail was noticeable from the start. Before even meeting Tina in person, she scheduled a Zoom call to get to know me. She covered everything that I should do to prepare for the photo shoot, as well as what to expect on the day of, and then sent e-mail reminders. Tina encouraged me to make a Pinterest board full of inspiration for the shoot. She also familiarized herself with my Instagram page so she could get an idea of my personal style, my lifestyle, and my values. I also feel that she picked up on something I was missing in my life- my freckles! Tina and Sarah (HAMU Artist) gave me the confidence to use a lighter touch on the makeup for the photo shoot, revealing natural beauty and inner confidence I never knew I had! This has actually been life changing in a way, as I no longer try to cover up my freckles on a daily basis. Tina even wanted to know my favorite playlists so I would be comfortable throughout the day! One huge difference is Tina’s knowledge of posing. First off Tina knows exactly how the subject should pose. Her years of experience working with professional models taught her what works on camera. But more importantly Tina knows HOW to communicate the pose with the subject. Tina was able to give very concise feedback to get the precise movements and changes in pose that she wanted, and was always super positive. Tina never said “no not like that” it was always “now try this”. And by the way she is fierce when demonstrating poses too!! The reveal process was also amazing. Tina created a BEAUTIFUL video that took my breath away revealing the images and some cinematic video clips she took on the day of the photo shoot. She also had everything printed out and beautifully presented for me to make my selections. This is process was so much more special than reviewing images in your inbox.

Edit to add- I went back for more! I booked Tina for brand photography for my small business and the experience was just as great the second time around. Tina put in so much time and effort to ensure that she understood my brand and create a detailed shot list (in addition to everything we did the first time too) so the day went super smoothly! Now I have plenty of images to represent my brand and I can’t wait to use them in my marketing materials! Well worth every penny spent!

Fantastic experience! I'm a nervous photo-subject, but everything was well organized both in advance and on the day of to give me plenty of time to relax. Tina did good work in both creating several poses to choose from and helping me quickly narrow down on options. I ended up with a more relaxed and creative headshot than I've ever had in the typical corporate headshot day. Tina knows what she's doing to get the best out of everyone - definite recommend.
