Mikaela is absolutely amazing!! She captured amazing fresh 48 photos for my family and my only regret is not also booking her for birth photos. She is so warm and easy to be around and made us feel comfortable during the session. Highly recommend!

We never really thought about getting family photos until we met Mikalea. Mikaela is a photographer, but really she is an artist and storyteller. Her photography is creative and beautiful. For our family, Mikaela is able to capture what it really means to be a family, parent, or for me personally a mom. Her photographs are not just pictures, but the are images full of emotion and life. From someone who never would have thought about getting family photos, now I wouldn't think twice. Plus the added bonus is Mikaela is just as nice and as beautiful of a person as her photos.

I recently had a first 48 session with Wander Birth Photo. Mikaela, was able to come a mere 24hrs after my c-section of my 2nd child. She was able to accommodate a strange time so that I could get my older child to the hospital to meet their sibling. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs over her own. This included traveling in bad weather and canceling her own appointments. When it came to the actual photo shoot she made me incredibly comfortable. She was upfront with establishing what my comfort level was with photos. I never even had to leave the bed. She changed a diaper and swaddled my newborn better than I’ve ever managed too! She included my 3 1/2 year old in the photo process letting him snap a few. I am left with incredible keepsakes of my last child. Candid and casual photos in one of my most vulnerable moments. I highly recommend any of her services because she took incredible care. Thank you Wander Birth Photos!

Mikaela is an absolute joy to work with! She is so fun and easygoing to be around and made the session a lot of fun. She also understands the attention span of kids and how to keep momentum and movement, which cannot be underestimated ;). The photos came out beautifully and will be treasured for ever!!
