Emily and Brandie are the ultimate dynamic duo, and they truly have the friendliest and most talented team.

We are now 6 months married and still in awe of our captured memories.. we love sharing moments regularly from our albums with our families! We also love keeping in touch with West Rose’s team still today. We wanted to invest in a team that we knew we could maintain a positive relationship with. Throughout our wedding planning journey, relationship building and trust was super important to my husband and I. It was already overwhelming to have every cookie showing me wedding ads left and right..and to top it all off, we’re the most indecisive couple. Admittedly, we shot out many inquiries just from seeing things that looked great and captured a style that we thought would suit us and our personalities. With multi-day events (we did a Welcome Party and an evening wedding ceremony that turned into a cocktail hour and reception) we were looking for a 14 hour video and photo package of both days, total. We felt that it was sufficient for what we needed and we loved getting the film as an add on for our memories. It does truly make a difference!

When we got on the first call to meet Brandie and get to know her and her business, we were blown away by 1) her kindness, 2) her genuine interest in our lives, 3) her empathy towards feeling camera shy or awkward, 4) her intention to prioritize our vision within our budget (*AMAZING*) and 5) her beautiful dog COCOA! 🐶 Shortly after we also had a chance to get to know her sister Emily, and then eventually Paige and the others as well. We really appreciated their attention to detail after going through the initial introductory call, because in our follow up call when a quote was provided, Brandie and Emily mentioned notes of the same details that we brought up and wanted to make sure they carefully handed each piece of information to us as they focused on what we wanted. This felt very thoughtful of them, and showed us that we were at the top of their list (despite however many clients they might have been juggling).

Our whole experience wasn’t just during the wedding weekend. We received love and attention from the team for over a year, where they cheered us on virtually in everything we were doing (home efforts, traveling, work and school). This is exactly what we wanted and needed to feel comfortable with them: the most professional friends that took our stress, held our hands and got our good sides on our special day!! I forgot that they had never photographed a Hindu wedding before (only videotaped), but only because they were so confident, they asked the right questions, they came prepared and were attentive to EVERYTHING. We personally did not get a chance to explain the nuances of each ritual but knowing Brandie and Emily, they prepared themselves well without adding to our stress and gave the impression that they did their homework through communication with other vendors and our wedding planner. I’m hindsight we see how crucial this is and are appreciative of their hard work and preparation. We believe they would have approached any Indian wedding the same way even if it wasn’t their first one.

We got our previews unbelievably fast, and we are in awe of what they have frozen in time for us. They were incredibly kind about receiving feedback as well and made sure to ask us if we were happy with our product.

We would most definitely consider reaching out West Rose again for future celebrations that we have in our family, as our family members were also very impressed and curious on if they would provide services in our future. If you’re a South Asian couple looking for a photo/video vendor, I would consider chatting with Brandie and Emily as they are family who wants to capture your family - and they are pretty dang good at it with their skilled team!

West Rose did a phenomenal job with capturing our day so perfectly. We did the 11 hour session and I truly feel like every part of our day was captured and we can relive it now. They also did our engagement session and made my vision come to life for downtown pictures. Before our wedding day they asked what we would have changed about our engagement pics/what we envisioned for our wedding photo vibe. We wanted polished but natural and they absolutely nailed it. My husband and I do not have very creative minds and we can be indecisive so it was such a relief knowing we could trust the opinion of our photo and video crew. I was worried that the day would feel like a production with photo and video crews but I truthfully didn't even think about that on the actual day. They made us feel natural and we got to experience the day and be very present with each otherThey also had our photos back to us so quick! Within a few days we had our sneak peek pictures and about a month later we had the entire album and full length film. I cannot recommend West Rose enough to anyone who is wanting their day to be frozen in time just as it was. I can’t recommend West Rose photo and film enough! We got married in May and recently got our galleries back… WOW is all I can say! We still have new favorites every time we look through them.
