We had Whitling Photography do our Engagement and Wedding photos; she was a perfect choice for us. Our Engagement session was on the farm I grew up on and our wedding was at The Priory in PGH - 2 very different settings; yet I felt the two albums were cohesive.

Her humor matched our vibe: we are awkward and basically laughed the entire time. I’m obsessed with our photos and look at them almost daily (we got married over two months ago). I had a REALLY hard time picking a photo for our save-the-dates and Thank Yous because we loved them all so much. She captured our day perfectly.

My now-husband hates photos so I knew I needed to be strategic when getting them done & Stephanie was very understanding. I’m also a little Type A and Stephanie really worked with me to get my vision without wasting any time!

She was prompt with both arriving on-time and providing our albums to us (early actually). She was professional but she still connected with us. I think she’s hilarious & creative.

I could not recommend Whitling Photography enough. We will definitely be booking her again for a family session or something. We love you Stephie!

We did our ceremony in Cook Forest State Park. Stephanie was great to work with. She was super friendly and listened to our ideas regarding some various pictures that we wanted plus she shared her own thoughts based on shooting the area many times before. My husband and I got engaged in October 2020 and planned on getting married the following October. When we started planning our wedding, we had a hard time finding a photographer for our date until someone recommended Stephanie! To our luck, she just had our date become available!!! We were planning our PA wedding from NC and were unable to meet with her in-person but we were able to FaceTime! Not only is she cool but she also has a great sense of humor! She made us feel so comfortable and at ease while taking our photos. After a few weeks of research, my husband and I settled on hiring Whitling Photography for our private elopement. Neither one of us has had any experience with getting our professional photographs taken, so we were unsure of the whole process - and albeit, a little nervous! But Stephanie was quick to reach out, arrange a meeting to work out the details, and answered any questions we had. She made us feel comfortable from the get-go.

On the day of, she arrived early and prepared. A lot of the general awkwardness around having our photos taken was dissipated with how easy Stephanie was to get along with. Just like an old friend.

Bret and Stephanie did such an amazing job capturing our special day! We had so many amazing pictures to choose from. I really was happy with how all the pictures turned out. Especially all the family pictures. They are very easy to get a hold of and very understanding. We also did an engagement shoot with our package and it rained on the scheduled day not only did they reschedule once but twice due to weather. We were able to get a lot of nice shots even with a little bit of rain showers. We will use them both in the future for other milestones. 🙂
